Onboarding helps Rankz AI collect enough information to generate meaningful insights for your store.
You will go through six steps during onboarding.
1. Add products
You select up to three core Shopify products to analyze during the trial. These products are the first ones Rankz will track for AI visibility, sentiment, and position.
Choosing representative products helps ensure the data you see reflects your real business goals.
2. Select prompts
Prompts are the customer style questions you want to track. These are the questions AI tools answer when recommending products.
Rankz uses prompts to check whether your products appear, how they are described, and where they are positioned compared to others.
3. Add competitor URLs (optional)
You can add competitor product URLs to benchmark how AI treats similar products.
This step is optional and can be skipped or revisited later.
4. Configure LLMs.txt
Rankz can generate an LLMs.txt file that helps AI models understand your store and product catalog.
You can preview the file and decide when to publish it.
5. Generate blog post (optional)
Rankz can generate AI friendly content such as listicles or buying guides as a draft in your Shopify admin.
Nothing is published automatically.
6. Review and launch
Before analysis begins, you review your setup and confirm your selections.
π‘ Onboarding exists to give merchants full control before any analysis or generation starts.
